    Beringer UCA 222

Just got the Beringer UCA222, and connected to Beomaster5 via USB - streaming sound via Airport Express.

The problem is that in the beginning of the streaming process, the sound "stutters", like digital stutter- if i restart the song a couple

    of times it goes away.

i tryied to connect my Iphone aswell, but the problem remaims. Has anybody experienced the same ?

I am thinking of getting a different soundcard, mayby ESI U24.

Hey there. Would the ESI U24 give you digital input from the Airport Express digital out? I have the Beringer UCA222 but feel the sound could be better if fully digital.

ESI 24XL did not work !

Mayby because it requires a driver, i think it needs plug and play.

Only Beringer 222 works because b&o have this driver installed in sw

if you want to use another soundcard you have to manual install driver for it in servicemenu (xp windows) but after sw update you have to do it again...

We are letting Bang & Olufsen off the hook big time here! This thing costs nearly £5K!!

    • From Day 1 the BS/BM 5 should have had a high quality analogue aux in fitted as standard. Without the nead for digital processing with very so so sound quality.
    • From Day 1 the BS/BM 5 should have had an in built CD ripping would have cost peanuts, they bring out the new ripper solution and expect us all to nominate them for the nobel prize for technology!
    • At this price you would expect the manufacturer to have an app out in their own name.
Great sounding product with some nice features, but the shortcomings are so frustrating!
