Very nicely done - but I don't see the BeoVox 2 or the BeoSound 5 Encore - unless I need to delve more deeply?

Indeed, there's nothing about the new products, and the ones expected to be discontinued are still there (BS 3200 / BV6).

I find the online catalogue very good, there are links to other pages, audio and video clips, it's -finally- interactive, which makes it more interesting than the paper edition now..But I'll pick up a paper copy next time I visit a B&O shop! I've got them all since 1990.Smile

    Reunion Island is greeting you!

B&O must be nearly ready with the Encore as they have a web page (albeit with no real information in it)!

If you Google Beosound Encore the above link is described as -

BeoGreg, would you be so kind to share a scanned copy of the pages with the Encore pictures and technical specs? That would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, js

    Js,

What I can tell right now (the catalog sits on an harmchair in my bedroom/i'm at my office) is that the Encore looks exactly like the Beosound 5 on the catalog picture.

On the tech specs you see that under the screen it's a little bit thicker and of course there is no more Beomaster 5.

You get access to 10.000 radio stations via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable and you can hook a hard disk drive and a USB key or a computer.

While we're talking "radio stations", does it tell if it supports podcast subscriptions?

On the Beolab 9 page, the LR set-up shows something impossible:

A Beocenter 2 on a cocktail table...with no wires coming from it or along the floor to the wall.

    REEEEDICULOUS!

The tech specs of the BeoLab 3500 in the catalog show as an accessory "cove" now in addition to the base stand and wall bracket. Does anyone have any more info on this?

Indeed, Chris, your are fully right here.

I checked the whole catalog this time and it was pleasure going through it. Especially the integrated videos  and links where a nice touch. Also, the video highlighting the integration possibilities shows, I think, the  direction B&O is going quite well.

    Yes, it's looking good.

Thanks a lot, so no Masterlink, just WIFI to possible connect to a NAS device if I understand that right. How do I get the sound into my B+O Audio. I would not want to use that as a stand alone and put speakers on.

    Best regards Oliver

I think you have to be patient and wait for some sort of masterlink converter.  Apparently this won't be coming as soon as people would like.

from which port do you want to covert? There is no port.

    Yes there is - Ethernet.

New B&O products will be linked using traditional networking (apparently).  Eventually, a device to bridge between this and MasterLink will be created.

This is all in other threads, but no one seems able to keep the same stuff in the same place - we just end up with loads on the same topic.

    Here's a couple:

Apart from the Ethernet as mentioned, you will have to have a line-out for speakers (of course with attenuation), and hopefully a digital out too (thinking BL5s etc. here).

So, yeah, there will be something to convert.

Re: New Catalogue is online now!

okay, got it and I already do transfer all ML data via Cat5 through my house using the junction boxes. So maybe via the Ethernetport the thing can already be used on Master link?

    Best regards Oliver
