Control sound formats used on a BV10-40?

The BV10-40 seem to decide automatically (when using "Speaker 3" setting) which outgoing sound formats to use, dependent on the sound signal it receives. In most of the cases its fine, (looking at e.g. movies from my Tvix N1), but for some TV -channels, from my cable PVR box, the BV10 is using an outgoing sound coding that gives a slightly strange soundstage.

Is there anyway to control how the BV10-40 decode the sound signal?

Menu, highlight options, red go, adjustments and there you have sound as auto. It can be changed to:

    Dolby PLII Movie

    Dolby PLII Music

    DTS Neo:6 Cinema

    DTS Neo:6 Music

Thanks! I was afraid that it was possible to change this Smile

Beoworld is really an awesome source of knowledge.

    One followup question:

When I try eg. the  DTS Neo:6 Cinema, the sound output says only "Dolby Digital" when I have a source that plays DD 5:1. Should I only use DTS when I have a DTS source?

Does this mean that I only get a stereo sound picture and not utilizing the center speaker correctly?

    I only have left/center/right speakers.
