I’ve been contemplating changing the opamps in the analog filter stage on the decoder board of my Beogram CD5500. Has anyone done this? Currently these are LM833 which have a reasonable specification but maybe more can be had with something else in place.

My idea would be to solder in some sockets and experiment with swapping out different types of opamp.
