    BEO 5 help !

    Hello Beoworlders

I am looking for some advice/suggestions on using the BEO 5 to control , my dealer is quoting £82 per hour to programme some actions but is not sure how long it will take them to do it

I currently have an Optoma projector and screen, PS3 controlled via a BEO4 and dongle, not sure if xbox 360 can be controlled, wii,Beolabs 3500 and 2000

Lutron Grafike eye and somfy blinds.

Could all the above be controlled by BEO5 or do i also need Lintronic Box

any advice /suggestions would be appreciated

I would ask Keith using the contact box at the bottom of the screen. I think he knows more about the Beo5 than anyone else in this country!

You should be able to control all of this. .

the only this that may be tricky is the somfy blinds. .but I think they're in the mix now

Is the PS3 your only source?

Also, are you using a BS1 or BS3? what sound processor?

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

Sky HD and all consoles are connected to BV7 Mk3  which has bs3 , not sure if xbox requires a dongle of some sort.

    Re: BEO 5 help !

Can Beo 5 send volume down/up to a Denon AVR and continuously decrease/increase the volume?

Or do I have to press volume down 10 times to change the volume of the AVR in 10 steps?

The logitech harmony one can handle this! What about the Beo 5?

Got mine done by Graham & Ian in Manchester - not too far from West Yorks and not £82 per hour.

For clarity - I worked there until April, so perhaps I'm biased - but it's another option for you.
