    Looking for MCL82 manual info

In order for a Beomaster 8000 to have MCL82 as extra speakers the units needs a modification.

I don't have any MCL82 yet and no manual for them as well.

My question is if the manual with the setup instructions mentions Beomaster 8000 and if it does what does it say?

Can anyone help? No I'm not going to upgrade for this.

No need to for the MCL82... the MCL82 manual here links to a BeoLink Active - Russian manual! Laughing

Besides having the 8000 and a NOS MCL82, I am pretty confident I have the correct manual somewhere!

If I can find it, I will be happy to take a look through it for you and post back.

    ++++EDIT++++

In the meantime, over at BeoTech... I found THIS and THIS

Look towards the bottom... talks about a kit + confirms modifications to the MCL82 unit.

    Sorry, no luck. Sad

The manual I have is MCL, not MCL82.

I'll keep digging to see if I can find ANYTHING on this topic.

The installation guide only mentions the Beocentre 7007 and 7700 as needing switch settings if the MCL82 is in the same room.

The user guide mentions the 7007/7700 and their terminal for operation.

The user guide mentions the Beocenter 7000 and 7002 also from the perspective of having an MCL82 in the same room.

The general introduction of the user guide lists those Beocenters and in addition the Beosystem 5000.

    No mention of the 8000.

No mention of modifications in fact, just of switch settings.

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

I think it's a bit rough asking for help then blatantly saying you don't want to pay to be a part of the site.

I know you don't have to, but clearly you use the site enough and would like it to be still here next time you visit.....

Thank you for the information. That was all I needed.

The reason for not upgrading is that its a nearly stock answer to simpel info like this and I have no idea if that manual is on site in English.

I have been a gold member before and I will do so again when my budget is less tighter than its been for the last 2 years to allow it. Beoworld is a great site and I'm here to ad the value I can and I like to see what's going on with other B&O owners.

The point is though, that you were asking to access the paid area of the site and blatantly saying you don't want to pay...

Does that mean I should stop paying, and everytime I need a manual I just ask someone else?

    I understand your views Jon.,

however I am reminded of the saying "charity begins at home",

and for so many of us Beoworld is home :)

but I guess that's the vino roja talking Laughing

No it was to not getting the stock answer: you can upgrade to gold status and download what you need.

My income can not justify the expense.

    Yes its that tight.

If he hadn't have so blatantly said he doesn't want to pay to be a part of the site, I wouldn't have even blinked.

I just felt it was a smack in the face for us who do pay....

Happy to help under normal circumstances Yes - thumbs up
