    harmony 525 and beocenter 9000

hi all, managed to get my new 525 to control the beocentre, however in order for me access the aux in (for ipod, and dvd source) the remote (my beolink 1000) has to use 2 buttom pushes, SHIFT and then RADIO to access aux input...i cant seem to find a way around getting this action onto my new 525 any ideas?

    thanks, glen

I don't know much about the Harmony, but it might be helpful to know that the SHIFT key never sends anything by itself - it's a modifier key, i.e SHIFT+RADIO sends just a single command (which is different from plain RADIO). I believe you should be able to teach that to the Harmony.

A.Aux might be the command - it's how I access Aux on my 9500

SHIFT+RADIO on a Beolink 1000 actually sends a different command than A.AUX on Beo4 (code 0x183 vs 0x18a), but yes, I believe both of them would select the AUX input on these Beocenters.

These may correspond to different AUX+<digit> commands on the BC touch panel - one of them (I think it was AUX+8) selects the microphone input, but most just route to the AUX input.

sussed it !, looked at some of the settings then just assigned a key onthe remote for AUX IN this works straight away, now with one click it will turn my tv on, change to correct channel, turn on dvd and open the drawer, turn on the b&o and select the AUX In ! fantastic...for £50 this is one hell of a bit of kit, especially once you spend an hour or so programming it, even the other half is impresses now!!!

not sure why there is so much negative comments on the web (when i searched anyway) about support for b&o with harmony remotes, i can do pretty much all i could want with it!

    thanks all for your help

I have set aside ALL of my Beo remotes... I use Logitech(s) and they have been perfect.
