    BV8 + sonos

I was thinking about using my BV8 40" with af sonos ZP80 connected to it.

I have tried to connect the sonos to one of the SDPIF connectors and defined the input as DVD2 and it works fine.

I do have some questions to this setup though:

    1) The TV's screen is turned on. Is there any way to make it not turn on in this setup (I know the P-mute function but hoping for an easier solution)?

    2) I would like it to function with one of the hard buttons on the BEO4. TV, V.MEM and DVD i allready in use. Could A.MEM maybe be used if the TV is set to another option setting?

    1) NO

    2) NO

    The only way is:

    1) DVD2 and then P.MUTE

    2) A-DVD2 (via LIST)

    Re: BV8 sonos

I have tried the A-DVD2 but it seems like I am not able to adjust the volume when using this. On the other hand I can not acces menus either so I guess it means that there is no picture.

    Re: BV8 sonos

If I use A-DVD2 on my Beo4, the sound of the connected source can be heard, the picture remains dark and I can control the volume. If I press MENU the config menue appears and with EXIT it disappear.

I have a BV 10-40, but with a BV 8-40 it should work the same way. If not, probably your BV 8 needs a software update.
