    New Sub ?

Any updates on the new sub? Our dealer has offered us a Beolab 2 at a 35% discount. Am trying to decide whether to consider it or wait for the new sub. We have Beolab 9s that I am quite happy with but my wife thinks we need a sub.

    Re: New Sub ?

    Razlaw,

If you or your better half feel the need to augment the BeoLab 9s then take the BeoLab 2. The new BeoLab will be slotted below it in power and performance. It would be a better companion for 4000s or 3s and will be relatively ineffective with the 9s. Plus 35% is an unheard of discount. Anyone foolish enough to offer it should be taken up on it!

    Re: New Sub ?

Thanks for the input. The discount is due to it being a floor model, but with very little use. It is in the store connected to a pair of Beolab 3s and thus used only when a customer wants to hear the three together rather than the other pair of 3s  in the store with no sub connected.
