Guess what's in the boxes!
Boxes for my new project. Can anybody guess what it is? No other price than the glory.
The Beo4 is placed there just to give you the size of the boxes and is not involved in the project.

Re: Guess what's in the boxes!
The wooden wall panels as seen at some dealers? (I never thought it was a real wood, actually.)

BeoVox 1 back boxes?
The BeoTime and its socket panel?

Correct!
The size chocked me. The dealer said "don't be chocked now by the size" and came with one box, but I was surprised. Then he went for the second box ...
I thought the back covers would be the size of the speakers, but they are BIG!
They will be mounted in the ceiling in my bath room that will get a total makeover in September. I will come back with photos of the project when it's time.

I have the actual dimensions of these boxes at home somewhere that a fellow beoworlder posted. I was going to build my own for the beovox1's for my bathroom but due to lack of funds i bought some second hand kef speakers from ebay instead. There are some pictures of beovox 1 installation using these boxes somewhere on the site, if you can find may be of use to you.

They don't, the back covers are extras. But the back side of the BeoVox1 is open without cover (like car speakers). We have maaany spiders in our home and I don't want the speakers to be a spiders nest. Plus the back covers will provide a better sound.
But I just thought it should be some kind of small box (like a cheese dish cover).
The back covers are well made with internal connections for the speaker cable. The lower part is filled with some kind of foam rubber so I think the good speakers will sound even better in the back covers.
They wasn't so expensive (140 € for the pair) so it must be the biggest B&O boxes per €.

Well I think I saw some kind of instructions in one of the boxes. But I will just hand the back covers to the carpenter and ask him to place them where I point.
But I will of course search for the pictures, thanks for the tip.
Actually I normally try to do most of the house projects on my own, but not this one. With bathrooms it's better to let the pros do the work.

I found the tread but the photos aren't there anymore. Totally agree, leave the bathrooms to the pro's
