Use of active box with mcl2p

    Hi all

a rather off the wall question

would it be possible to use a linked active box to run an mcl2p amp and passive speakers and be able to control it thro' an ir eye?

i realise it is a very messy way to operate , just trying to use spare bits of kit!

If it is anyone out there got a spare active box?

    salut

It certainly will work - that is one of its major uses. A MCL2P and passive speakers will act just like a pair of active speakers.

As ever thanks for that where would the forum questioner's be without you!

I thought it would work(albeit a little cumbersome) but wanted confirmation before chasing said active which would obviously be useable in the future if more active speakers crop up!
