A couple months ago, it would stop, go back to rest and standby and all I did was turn it back on.  Yesterday, it stopped, left the disc disoriented and went back to rest.  I reset it, and tried to turn it back on.  The light went on, it clamped onto the disc, but it did not spin.  Advanced it to another disc and same thing.  To the shop it went.  Its going to cost several $$$
