FM arial for a BC2 system

I'm currently using one of those 'copper' plug in arials. 2 pieces of white plastic with copper thread in basically. I don't have an FM arial socket on the wall unfortunately and I can't put an outside arial up, listed building.  The above is not really doing the job and is having trouble even with BBC channels (NOT Terry Wogan I might add.. LOL)

Any suggestions how to overcome this - what arial to buy?

    Cheers all

DAB is less prone to interference - can you get DAB?
