    Caged Items? Any expiriences

I know I've had a bad one when it came to a BV7-32, however in general what are they? Returned Products? Refurbished products?

    Thanks

As far as i understand, they are repaired/refurbished returns on the whole.  Thay are also 'graded' - with 'A' being supposedly 'as new'..

If a product is discontinued and B&O have stacks of them left, they will also appear on the caged list for dealers to buy and sell to their customers at a discount.

Caged stuff carries the same warranty as a new product though, so peace of mind can be had.

    I would say so.

99.9% of dealers are totally honest when selling caged and are very upfront - but there's the 0.01% that sell it as new at full price and don't tell anyone... Sad

    Re: Caged Items? Any expiriences

I bought a "caged" BV6-26 when the BC6-26 was on sale (therefore, some stock clearance). Wasn't happy with the quality of the picture so in the end it went back. However, i'm not sure if the picture quality was due to it being caged or it was just the picture performance of the old model

The dealer was great and managed to get me a caged BC6-26 with v little use (maybe 10 days of video). Of course had to pay some more as was the new model.

V happy with the BC6-26 though am now considering upgrading to the new BV7-32 : though that hasn't nothing to do with the caged piece, i just would like a bigger screen ...
