Beoport/Beoplayer with a touch screen PC

Well the title says it all really. Has anyone tried using Beoport/Beoplayer with a touch screen PC. One of my friends writes his own touch screen jukebox software. This got me thinking about using Beoport/Beoplayer software in the same way. My idea is to put a 20" touch screen into an old MX2000 casing.

In theory it should work fine. You would need to touch the edge of the screen to get the little arrows popping up, but it should all work as normal.

What I might do is ask my mate if I can install Beoplayer on one of his touch screen PC's and try it. This could be an interesting project I hope.

Hopefully once the software has been tested to see how it copes with a touchscreen. It should be quite easy to sort out the rest. Of course a photo thread will be posted too.Wink

I am using an iPOD Touch to control N.Music via W-LAN. Works fantastic and costs less than 200€.

Re: Beoport/Beoplayer with a touch screen PC

Are you actually controlling N.Music with the iTouch or controlling iTunes with the iTouch?  If you have a way to control N. Music on Beo Player with the iTouch without using iTunes could you explain how?

    Thanks!

actually I am controlling iTunes with the iPOD Touch. Pressing N.Music and Stop just opens BeoPort.
