beomaster 6000 max out at half volume

    Hello everybody,

    I have a  beomaster 6000 connected to a pair of beovox c75.

when i turn up the volume to about 35 (the system can go up to 60) the beoaster turns off and goes into standby. the same happens when i connect a turntable and the needle accidentally "falls" on the record.

I'm not sure if its the speakers or if the receiver is at fault, but I can tell that volume wise it should be able to play a bit louder than just 35. in fact, it does play a few seconds just fine before "maxing out" and turning off.

I have some experience with circuits and I do have the diagrams in case this should require replacing parts.

    ANY HINTS are welcome.

    thank you!

    Check amp DC offset.
Replace trimmers at the amp board and readjust to factory specs.
Replace capacitors, especially at the amp board and module 16 - a kit is available.
Check for cracked solders at module 14 (connectors) and where the connections goes to the processor board.
