    Tracking force for MMC1

I just picked up a mint looking Beogram 1800 with a very little used mmc1.  What is the reccomended tracking force for this combo?

    Thanks,

    Ed in Michigan

    Hi Ed - nice findSmile

The recommended tracking force for the MMC1 is 1.0 g but if it is worn you may need to "up" it a little. I personally wouldn't go above 1.5 g though as this is the point where you should really be looking to replace the cartridge.

HERE'S how to set the tracking correctly on a Beogram 1800 if you're unsure.
