Just as a FYI for anyone waiting for a release of Beoport / Beolink PC2 / Beoplayer for 64-bit versions on Windows:
Beoport works on Windows 7 64-bit (RC) using Virtual PC / Virtual Windows XP.
Virtual PC is now a viable solution as the new Virtual PC / Virtual Windows XP for Windows 7 support USB. If you want to test it, just sign up for the Windows 7 RC with Microsoft and get the (also free :-) Virtual PC from Microsoft.
Windows Virtual PC even has a Virtual Windows XP emulation mode, where applications appear on the Windows 7 desktop without the need to start up a Virtual PC session. It would be a seamless setup, if it wasn’t for the fact that Beoplayer complains that it can’t start this way because other windows are “docked”. I wonder if this snag will be fixed when B&O release a version for Windows 7.
