    BV7 turning of STB???

    Hi!

My BV7-32 MK2 has begun to behave strangely with my Samsung P850 STB.

It's shuting down the STB a little now and then. There are no specific pattern when it does, it can happen at any time. But often after pressing any botton on the remote (DTV, 1, 2, 3, "RED"...) while the STB/DTV is already choosen as source on the TV.

    It's connected to AV1 with a IR-transmitter.
I have tried to change the STB "power off setting" in the connection menu but it doesn't make any change. It's now set to "never"

Is the SCART sending any commands?

    Any ideas?

    /Ola

Have heard about this issue, mainly related to the BV8 - have you tried to unplug the TV from the mains for at least 45 sec?

    Re: BV7 turning of STB???

Found the following error reported by B&O: IR-Table synchronising; When starting up from standby: the set-top box indicates that it gets a start-up command and approx. 5 seconds later it gets a second command and switches to standby.

If this is the cause, then updating the S/W to 7.84, or a newer version, for the 7-32 should sort it out (note that also the M2 S/W will have to be updated to 7.84 or later version).

    Hi
