    Types of cables to use...

Hey all I know its a bit of a daft question but I was just wondering......I have a client who has had his house already wired using cat5 cables. It is a new house and fully finished so i really dont want to have to tell him to rewire every thing....But he has just bought a Beosound 9000 with a set of beolab 80000 speakers and a non B&O plasma in the main room. two beolab 4 and a non B&O t.v. in the kitchen. A beolab 3500 and non B&O T.V. in the main bedroom...and finally a beolab3500 on its own in another area...

    Also has a Beo4 remote...A beolink active..and a  wall plate remote...

My question is this can i utilise the cat5 for the various controls or will I have to run ML or PL cables.....

I am an experienced installer but i have to  say not with B&O products...Have got an account with bosscom so i can get the cable if i need to....

By the way this site is a great resource have already learned a lot.... Thanks Kevin ...

Could consider installing a Lexcom system see here

    http://www.ibn-01.com/resources/intelligenthome/docs/lexcom-home-system-overview-en.pdf

Read to the end for ML and PL modules

Thanks guys plenty of food for thought there.... Will surely be back for more help when the gear goes in re. setup. I am going to try to use whats there already cable wise ... Fingers crossed...hopefully wont have to retrofit but at this stage not going to rip a finished house apart yet...
