    Beosound 9000 and mp3 playing

Hi all.  I'm using a 2003 Beo9000 with numusic and have been burning a few cd's from my mac onto cd's (both in apple lossness and basic mp3 format) to play on my 9000 but it doesn't seem to recognize the disc (keeps pausing and spinning). Is there anything that can be done or is this just the way it is?

    Thanks all!

The Beosound don't play MP3 nor the Lossless format to my knowledge.

The only way to get it to play MP3 or lossless is to convert them to the redbook format on a CD?

Otherwise connect your MP3 player to the AUX input using a DIN->RCA adapter.

Are you using CDr or CDrw? I can usually play the former but the latter never.

But if the Beosound 9000 don't play the MP3 format nor Lossless (still compressed) it doesn't matter what media you are using.
