    BeoMaster 3500 weird radio problem

    Hi.

I have just fitted a BeoMaster 3500 in the kitchen for my wife to listen to Radio 4 and for me to listen to CDs or my iPod.

Everything was going swimmingly until I tried to use the radio.

Basically, the CD player works perfectly and the iPod works via one of the other AUX sockets but although I can tune and store FM stations I  cant hear anything.

If I turn the volume up on full I can hear the radio station very feintly in the background but othewise I get nothing through the speakers.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Do you have any kind of FM antenna connected? B&O tuners are pretty good, but usually won't play anything without an antenna of sorts. Often a simple piece of wire stuck in the connector will be enough!

Of course, the tuner might have a fault but check this first.

Yes...there is an antenna connected....the tuner seems to be finding all the usual frequencies without any problem!
