    Beo 4 and Topfield

Hi folks. At long last, I am getting myself a Topfield box and getting the chip for my Beovision 3 so that the Beo 4 can control it. Noddy question I know but is the box easy to use with the Beo 4 (in terms of scrolling through menus, selecting channels, recording and so on)?

    Many thanks for any info.

    Re: Beo 4 and Topfield

I've just set one up (PVR5800) tonight with my Avant CTV.

I fitted the latest software (version 4.01).

Seems to work pretty well but if I put the TV on standby it tries to turn the box off. When I come out of standby the box is asking if I want it to power down (whilst recording).

Also, some of the functions seem limited - instant rewind of a programme and deleting a programme from the archive don't seem supported.

Has anyone got a link to the manual to operate the latest software via the Beo 4?

    Regards,

    John
