In absolute terms I am afraid not a lot. Not completely sure what you have - if it is a Beomaster 1500 and a Beocord 1900, about £30. If it is a Beomaster 1900 and a Beocord 1500 then the Beomaster, if it works and is in decent condition, will get over £50 alone. The Beocord is worth almost nothing I am afraid.

Very sorry your first post is in these circumstances and condolences to both you and your mother.

It is a Beomaster 1500 and a Beocord1900 and i gues worth about £30.00, thank you so much for answering, at least i will not feel to guilty if i have to just give it away, seems a shame to throw something away that still looks so good, but do not know where to sell something so one of a kind.

    Many thanks

The Beomaster is actually quite rare - very nice as well. I would put it on eBay - you might get some interest. This is a really good little amplifier - a bit like a mini 4400 with a lot of the same circuit design. The Beocord, although very good for its time, will be much more difficult to move.

Thanks for the advice, i have never used eBay but i am sure my daughter could help me. I am also wondering how easy it would be for me to buy the record player, speakers and a more upto date CD player and make a complete sound system. That would also make a good present for my mother and a sort of keepsake. Will look into it more.

    Cheers

Given that selling the lot won't raise that much money, I also think it might be a good idea to keep at least the Beomaster, if your mother likes the looks of it. With just the addition of some nice speakers it will make a really good radio, and you can connect any make of CD player with an adapter cable if you wish. Any older B&O record player will just plug in as well (and others with an adapter).

My condolences on the death of your father.

If you do a search for 'Beovox' on eBay you will find quite a wide rage of suitable speakers available for relatively little money. There are plenty of people here who will be happy to advise you on the best choices. Even if the pieces you have don't work at all you can assemble a vintage B&O system for your mother for a very reasonable price.
