    Type K speakers

     http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=876

Does anyone have any experience of these?

Any idea as to the value of a pair in good condition?

    Cheers

    Re: Type K speakers

Very rare, indeed if a pair !

Many were sold individually for use as an extra speaker for valve radios.

Value ? What someone is willing to pay. It's so hard to tell, condition is everything and the right buyer needs to be there.

But where is the radio, that they were used with ?Smile

    Hi Martin

Are the drivers prone to foam rot ?

I missed a pair that came up about two weeks ago, two sets I've seen in the last 3 years, so maybe third time lucky eh?

I was not bidding. I didn't even know that the speakers were listed for sale, I thought it was a pair you had and was considering selling.

I don't think foam rot is an issue with these speakers. They may have dried out but usually nothing more than a light coat of contact glue will fix.

Casdave - sorry mate didn't realise it was a fellow Beoworlder - bidder identity was hidden. Think we both did well to find them!
