BV6-26 (Type 9272) and WakeUp Timer

    Dear all,

I am planning to buy a used BV6 for my bedroom. It has type number 9272. I want to add a DVB-S Module to it (if the normal non HD module is still available) otherwise the new DVB.HD module.

Now I question if the TV has a wake up timer and if this timer can play SAT Radio programs. I do not want to wake up with TV, but Radio. This would be the perfect Alternative to pull a ML Cable throughout the house.

    Thanks.

    Heribert

no I am not. Would also not make too much sense, as the screen is not big enough for a HD.

Anyone knows what a normal DVB-S module costs? Does it have a slot for CI cards for e.g. ORF.Television?

I could be wrong but I don't think the BV6-26 will accept a DTV module of any type, at least not the early ones. I believe only the BC6-26 did.  You'd need to get B&O to confirm that from the type number.

I know that the DVB-HD module will fit in some of them (don't know wich ones). My parents got one for theirs. But you have to sacrifice the Radio module to make space for it.

In the 2006 Catalogue of the BV6-26 the DVB-S Modeule is shown as an option (as also the Dolby Surround Module is). So at least from that year it is a possibility.

Anyone knows about the Timer question?
