    Beovision 7-40 Problems

Ever since I bought a Beovision TV I have had problems, after three 7-32's I upgraded to the 7-40. I now have the version 3, but this is also currently working but not without problems, the EPG would not download the TV guide, a lack of RAM causing the problem. This took B&O months to admit and fix, they later upgraded themodule free of charge. Then this module caused problems, it is not compatible when we switch over to digital next year, so back it went and was finally upgraded to the latest HD module, but this caused the power supply to cook. With so much money invested in a 3200, a pair of 6000 and a link room system, I really don't know what to do.

Do I persevere, or get rid of the TV? Any suggestions?

Change it for a BeoVision 9 or a BV5-HD if you can find one

I am with Bentlyman on that one. I was on the verge of getting a bv7 until I read all problems with software. I can not believe it still is not sorted out.

Thanks for the advice, I can't believe the HD Freeview Module has gone again. Just waiting for another replacement.

    Re: Beovision 7-40 Problems

thats is all so disappointing for you mate :(

i have a BV7-40 mark 4, and by and large ive had no issues with it at all. and with the cost of these TV's, I certainly would not be happy if i had!

you deserve better customer service from B&O dealership in your area.  - It would make u wanna go out n buy a smart samsung for 2K!!! plug in and play n perfect....but never as nice as a B&O

I wish you luck my friend and maybe take the advice of previous two responders
