    Re: b&o furniture

it is indeed a SC70 cabinet, looks like Teak, expensive bit of kit in its time, sold for Beocenter 5000, 7000 and 7002...the SC77 was for the Beocenter 7700 which was a slightly diffrent profile....

can you tell i worked for plumbs in the 80`s....

OK, I see, SC means Storage Cabinet; found them in the accesories  section; is it one part or can you disassemble it ?

the "wood part" can't be dis-assembled, short of perhaps removing the cassette tray.
the "wood part" simply rests on the lower "metal part" = base. i can't remember if the 70 base can be broken down any further... FWIW - it is not *that* heavy or big.

andy: i believe you are right... that particular base is (1) unit as i recall.

bwaje: BTW, the speaker stands of the same era (the silver ones) are an exact match to the base of this cabinet. the setup looks great if you should come across a pair of them too.

Nah; the speakers sold with the storage+ Beocenter 7000 (just got one, and I like it!), and beogram CDX, are without any stand (non b&o speakers)
