If you disconnect the RS-232 cable between the Beosystem and the plasma panel, and then turn the Beosystem 2 on (and turning the Panasonic screen on manually). My screen remains black ! What happens on yours ?

Is your panel setup in the Beosystem 2 service meny set to PDP-4 panels or others?
