    MCL2A problems

    Hi all,

This is my first post - after searching the wealth of info on this forum, and several hours of frustration fiddling with a new MCL setup, I hope someone may be able to help!

I have a BC9500 which I am hooking up with MCL2A kits in two other rooms.  Checked and double checked all wiring, disconnected each MCL relay box in turn, and tried replacing the transceiver units (I have type 2045 and 2046).  The only function which will work is the Mute function in each link room - I can not control the main system - volume, source, etc - at all from link room transceivers using the BL1000 (except directly in main room with the BC9500).

I have gone through the installation guide and troubleshooting section, measured voltages at the terminal strips (about 2.5v at the data terminals and about 8v at the dc terminal) There is a small fluctuation in voltage at the data terminals when I press a BL1000 button pointed at the transceiver which I assume is data...?

I have also tried changing the option set-up, but no luck there either!

    Any advice greatly appreciated...

    Steve

    Re: MCL2A problems

Nevermind - I triple checked connections and there was a faulty solder on the data pin at the MCL 3 pin speaker plug... All working correctly now!
