    DVD2, worth considering?

    Hi there

Now the DVD2 is deemed out, and probably avalible at a discount, is it worth considering as a upgrade over my trusty old VX7000?

    best regards

    Chr.

No stay a way from that, and it's not compatible with the LX/MX series.

Thanks, too bad it is not compatible with the mx. Does anyone know the discount price of the DVD2?

whats the point in buying it, if you can get something much better non B&O which the B&O remote will work with?

I suppose the rationale would be that it is B&O and therefore integrates better. In this particular case, it doesn't though! The HDR2 would be different as this, although overpriced, is at least designed to work seamlessly. Personally I agree and have a Sky+ box that could easily be part of my B&O system and a Panasonic DVD-R/HDD/Freeview with my other system that although not as good, does offer a similar level of integration, if not better, than the DVD2.

No matter what the discounted price of the DVD2 will be, I strongly suggest you do not consider purchasing one.

Leave it for now. Next will be BR compatiable and much much better.

I think the Puc controlled BR DVD player's is a better solution, then another re-box.
