Does anyone know whether the BeoSound 9000 is a bit fussy with burnt CDs? I just tried to play a burnt Sony (sorry, but B&O don't make them!) disc which spins and pauses twice and sometimes does and sometimes doesn't play. Some others from the same pack are also a bit 'hesitant'. This is the only problem I've had with burned CDs and I'm wondering if it is brand-related. I chose these because they are brightly coloured iridescent blue - they look great in the machine!
It was a CD-R, burned on a Macintosh computer, played on a Mark 2 BeoSound 9000. Is there is a burn setting that needs to change?
As an aside, is there any risk of damage to the CD mechanism if it spins and fails to read?
Commercial discs play fine.
Thanks
Stuart
