Hi, I've got a Mk2 Beocom 6000 which I want to try and adapt for use with a bluetooth headset. I've found a very small bluetooth adaptor to use but it needs a 2.5mm socket to plug into. Has anyone ever put a socket on a handset? Alternatively maybe a modification could be made using the jack from the B&O earset. Any advice would be most gratefully received.

An interesting idea ... there is acres of space inside this model ... I dont see why it shouldnt be possible ... easy enough to get into and modify.

i'd also like to see a hack to increase speaker output sufficient that i could set the handset down at my desk and use it hands free...

Why don´t you use a DECT headset instead? It´s easy to pair with the BeoCom 6000 base station, delivers perfect audio quality and has a greater operating range than bluetooth equipment. I use a Plantronics C65 and can really recommend it.

Thank you for your reply. The phone belongs to my boss. I believe that he wants to use a bluetooth headset because he wants to use the same headset with his mobile as well. I'll have a look into the dect headset as well though, thank you for the suggestion.
