Has anyone had success adjusting the Beo5 to control fast scrolling of the Apple TV? If so, please share details.

Thanks for the link; however, I still have the problem of fast-scrolling. I'm using the "Apple Remote" devise control for the latest BS1/Avant code converter database. This still doesn't seem to solve the lack of fast scrolling issue. My understanding is that it has to do with the way that the Beo 4 handles "long IR" commands. My hope is that the Beo 5 could permit greater manipulation of the B&O IR signal. Keith seems to have a great understanding of how B&O codes work. I'm hoping he might be able to shed some light on this.

I got fast scrolling working with the Beo 4 on my North America  BV8. Its brand new and I am using the "Ipod remote" stb.

I know they had issues with supporting fast scroll in the past so you might not have the latest latest software.

Also, I believe that there is an STB Controller MK1 and MK2. BV7 40" MK3, BV8, BV9 and BS3 all use this newer STB. I do not know for sure if the STB changed, or just the update software but I got launch documentation for Bv8 and it talks about STB MK2.

 

I have the most recent software update. I just spoke with B&O U.S. tech support, who told me that it is impossible to have Apple fast-scroll via the Beosystem 1 or Avant. :(
