7 pin DIN (DATALINK) GENDER CHANGER

Anyone know where I can get one of these.....?????????????    I've got the CMM-10 cd changer that plugs into Tape 2 of my beocenter.....but it's MALE.....and i'm wanting to put it in the closet.....so I'll need to change from the MALE on the cd changer to a FEMALE.....7 pin DIN...

Then I can just use an AUX link cable to extend....yes????

    THanks,,,

What about a Powerlink one. Pretty sure I have seen these on Ebay from time to time. Although it has 8 pins, the 7 you require are in the same places.

    Hi Frank,

I don't know the CD10 changer but is datakink (remote control) neccessary? If not then 5 pin DIN would do the job, from your OP I take it you need a female/female DIn lead?

    Chris.

Chris, I believe it does require datalink. Cannot find it in the products section though.

Re: 7 pin DIN (DATALINK) GENDER CHANGER

I bought a 5 pin din gender changer from Maplins and removed pins 6 & 7 from the din plug as I didn't need the data function.  It works a treat.

Here is a link to their website page with this item.
