    9500 enquiry

There is a 9500 on Ebay which has a fault in as much as the CD/tape doors will not open when the touch panels are pressed. Is this an easy repair as I would like to buy this for a modest fee and store it until I get round to reparing it in the near future, either by myself or taking it to B&O to get it fixed. Any rough ideas of what might be wrong and whether this is an economic repair would be good.

    Thanks

    Graham

    Re: 9500 enquiry

The economy of the repair depends on how much you pay for it in the end I suppose and whether you tackle it yourself..

It is most likely that the drawers are either stuck or that the cords have come off of the pulleys. Not an easy task by all accounts to restring these but new parts are available as they are the same as for the BC9300.

If the problem is elsewhere then the cost of repair will obviously depend on this.

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.
