    Another Avant Question

I picked up a masterlink cable today to link my avant into my bs3000 - I've set the avant to link option 2 and the bs3000 to 0 and everything works, apart from the fact that sometimes I want the radio on and to be able to have the picture on the TV whilst I'm waiting for something to come on - but everytime I switch to the radio the avant switches off - any ideas if this is possible or is it because it's acting as the controller.

    Re: Another Avant Question

press TV - LIST (until the display shows AV)* - GO - RADIO

*If it doesn't show AV you will have to add it to the list

    Re: Another Avant Question

There have been a number of different versions of the Beo4 Remote control.  If you have an old model, it has an AV button in the middle of the second row from the top.   With this version you do not have to use the list funtion.  Assuming the products are correctly option programmed: Avant Option2. BeoSound3000 Option1 if you have speakers connected to it.  Option 0 if there are no speakers.

Then simply press AV + Radio.

The later versions of Beo4 had the DVD button in place of the AV button.  With this version the AV command is accessed via the list function which has to be added if it doesn't already appear.
