    BeoTalk 1200, replacement parts

Hi there, it´s been a while since I wrote something.
I´ve got a little question. I got a brandnew Beotalk 1200 as a present, because I was in desperate need of a "decent" answering machine. Unfortunately for me it´s the danish version, so I would like to know, if it´s possible to simply change the alu front door myself (without assistance from a technician) and if it´s still available as a spare part, either for the english or german version.
    Thanks + Regards, beoberlin

Spare parts are still available including the main printed circuit board and the front panel which can be replaced without problems.

Not sure which country you are in, your IP address shows you in Hamburg in Germany, but your Danish version may not work in some other countries because of the different line signals.

    Keith,

I am  little bit disappointed about my Beotalk 1200 because the clock is not very accurate. Within 2 weeks the clock runs about 2 - 3 minutes too late. Is this normal?

    Hmm

No, this is not normal, in fact mine has been running for several years and the only change I ever make to the time is every six months when we change the clocks by one hour. It sounds as if you have a fault on the board.

A replacement module for a UK unit is part number 8000804

    Regards Keith....
