Greetings all - decided to exchange my BL4000 and connect my BL'3s to my computer; however i get the well known buzzing sound when connecting the 3's and thats by using a MK3 cable- i have one of the absolute first versions of Beoport - so assume it only have the 5dins solded..........

Anybody know how to get this fixed? Easy to do myself or can the Beo-service shop do it or the local electrician?

Hello Klas,

I had the same problem some months ago when connecting my BL3s to my very old BeolinkPC2 (beoport), and this is what I made by myself:

weld pins 7 and 2 together

 

Result: BL3s completely stop buzzing after this bypass:

 

this is excellent Santiago; appreciated - i assume that pin 2 & 7 are connected with a piece of wire/solding?? Will get the solding iron up tonight and start working on my first "bypass" :)

Bypass SUCESFULL and patient survived and had a quick recovery; its working a charm!! thanks Santiago - it was a quick 30min job with your excellent instructions
