    Penta front grille removal

How do you take off the front grilles (frets?) of Beovox Pentas without breaking anything? I think I have some midrange suspension problems to sort out...

You need to carefullyly prise them sideways & slightly forwards between the fret & the copper coloured trim starting from the display area and working up for the top frets - vice versa for the lower ones. I use a blunt kitchen/butter knife to do mine.

Thanks, I got it; I never would've believed that was the place to pry (I tried first behind the copper, but luckily lost confidence before anything broke...). And the midranges were fine, too - I had some distortion in my test source...

    No prob's,

I try not to remove mine if possible as they are very prone to breaking on the clips and are a bit of a pain to get back on properly. Glad they are fine.
