    How rare is our B&O?

Bang & Olufsen has been in my family for decades, even before I was born. Earlier this year, my father emailed uncles, aunties, cousins and so on to ask whether they owned any B&O products. Everyone kindly replied with a short or long list of their B&O and my father made a list of these products and was interested to carry out his own research into each of these individual products. I have seen the final list myself and it is quite an impressive family collection stretching from B&O's first ever TV bought in 1950, to a BeoSound 6 bought a couple of weeks ago.

This has led me to think how many of these items are left in the world and how many B&O made in the first place. Does anyone know if B&O released this kind of information?

B&O are very secretive about this sort of information - they have also been re-organised several times and I guess they probably have thrown away quite a few records! They certainly don't have many manuals left!

That's a great shame. This kind of information would be very nice to have, even if B&O kept it confidential.
