    I hope this is a trend.  I have been waiting for high quality non-DRM downloads from a major classical label.  I have already downloaded 3 albums which sound great on the Beomedia 1 and iPod.  Especially impressive is liner notes in PDF format are included with most downloads.

     I hope Decca is next.  Thanks for the link.

    I heard about this on a podcast. Very exciting. Not from the point of view that i'm a big classical music listener but maybe some of the Jazz labels like concord, GRP and verve will jump on board and bypass retailers all together. Then from there perhaps, just maybe the artists will have their own downloads for sale from their own website thus bypassing the record label totally.

    Time will tell, but i do think that this is the way we will buy music in the future. Bring on BeoSound 5, giving us the ability to search by album cover, and having the display big enough to view the album art and text. perhaps the download sites will give us all the pages in the middle at some point. Hmm
