Why would the Beosound 1 not be DAB ?

I am interested in buying a new CD/radio with good sound quality to replace my Beolit radio but am puzzled that B & O do not appear to be offering DAB yet.  I noticed tonight that Bose are now doing their excellent CD/radio as DAB and wonder if I should wait until B & O catch up. What are the pros and cons?

    Many thanks

The Bose appears to have a dirty great module which you have to hide away. However I agree that B&O are a bit slow on DAB. However apart from the UK, DAB seems to be getting a slightly muted welcome and it would appear that even in the UK, it is not everything promised. I do actually have quite a few DAB radios myself  - six that I can think of - and now would not be without it!

Beosound1 don't have the display needed for DAB. But there are many DAB receivers out there ready to just plug in the AUX.

Wait until DAB+aac arrives within the next two years current DAB receivers will not work with this.
