    Letter to Santa

Well last week (half term) my kids spent hours pouring over toy catalogues preparing their letters to Santa (if they worked that hard on their homeworkBig Smile).

So never having been totally convinced that  he doesn´t live in the North pole I think this year it might be worth sending a quick note and see if 38 years of good behavior will stand me in good stead.

so here goes my wish list:

    Penta Lab 3´s.

    BL4500´s.

    A mint BM4400.

    World peace.

A partridge for my pear tree, actually three one for each.

A Tesco´s in Germany (close by preferably).

    cheers,

    Kevin

Nice one Kevin. Perhaps Puncher could use this for the Wed thred. He's in charge this week.
Save loads of dosh up Kevin, and we'll let you use one of our Tescos on Beoworld party day.

Good idea, Amdy. May I ask what you are holding in your right hand in your new avatar?

    Re: Letter to Santa

I am indeed holding a camera.
The phrase Chris used means "I bet he's holding a camera"
Not quite sure what you meant by saying "Do I have to understand this?"Confused

Was a bad translation may be. I wanted to ask if it was my fault if I did not understand this. Wink

Not a bad translation Tom - the misunderstanding lies with me. The phrase I used is simply an English one which is in every day use which no translator in the world would be able to manage.

I really must try to rememeber that a large section of our membership don't have English as a first language. My apologies.Smile

No problem, Chris! I am happy to learn some english here on beoworld, and if I don't understand something, I ask.

My money tells me I am not the only one who is taking english-lessons here on beoworld! Wink

    You can't say that Tom!!!
You have to say "My money says I am not-------------"
    or
" I'm not the only one taking lessons. My money's on it"
