I remember there had been some posts on this in the past, but I could not find them with the search function. I have Windows Vista and run Beoport 4.61. It seems I could only run N.Music and N.Radio when my account has Administrator rights. As this is not a secure way to run ones PC, I am looking for a way to overcome this.

Anyone having ideas, experiences?

I can now answer my question myself. To make it work, one needs to go to the BeoPort installation folder and select the executables. Then you have to enable "run as administrator" (obviously from an account that has the right to do so). Then if in your account that has no Administrator privileges, start BeoPort and depending on the Vista UAC settings it will prompt for Administrator password or run and everything works.
