    Serenata

Nipped into B&o Derby to collect the new magalouge and was told by Steve that they would be taking firm orders from the end of November, however dealerships were likely to be allocated one each initially.

Steve also showed me a very nice Beolit radio they had repaired using another one as a donor. He told me that they were happy to repair older equipment and obtain spares and interestingly had plans for a small showcase of classic B&o equipment within the store!

    Hi Dave,

Interested by your comments on the forward thinking Derby branch of B & O getting ready to repair Vintage gear as I'm not far from Lichfield, down the dreaded A38 & within reach.  That sort of service deserves to be encouraged & commented on when anybody has experience.

I just keep hoping that Lee will go Nationwide & then our problems will be over.

    Regards,

    John

Yes, and the rest of us is hoping he will go worldwide! Big Smile

By the way, why is this topic named Serenata?

    Re: Serenata

Whoops! Steve said they were taking orders for the Serenata from the end of November, However B&o are unable to give a firm delivery date to dealers.

Sorry if I went off at a tangent folksEmbarrassed Sorry for the confusion!

By the way I have also had great service on spares and repairs at B&o Arnold, Nottingham and B&o Wimborne Minster.

    Cheers

    Hi Dave,

OK, head it, 'Off at a tangent'.  From what you say things are looking bad for Lee with all these other people giving good service.  If he should spot this, I'm only joking.  However, good service is a 'collectors item' these days so let's hope it catches on.  Pity Lee couldn't sort out Messrs Sainsbury!!

    Happy listening!
