    two way remote outastanding

come on bang! take a loot to a simple software (19£) that it's simply amazing.

I am using it with my OUTSTANDING ipod touch and it's incredible!

You can control everything in the mac

    you can use the camera

you can control and SEE all you music via wifi

It's simply outstanding you must try it (and it's made via web, think about what they can do from february 2008 when Apple will release a Softtware Development Kit for ipod touch and iphone)

I am using a jailbreak ipod touch (where you can load every application) and it's so so so so beautiful... mail, info, web, maps, everything.

    Re: two way remote outastanding

Although I've only seen the movie on the website, I've got to agree. It makes the Beo 5 look clunky and dated (already). Wouldn't it be interesting when the SDK appears if someone can make the Touch compatible with Beo kit and retain the Mac (and by then, PC) control & functionality? That really would be the best of both worlds. More significantly, if that solution worked, it would put the Touch system head to head with the Beo 5. That would be very interesting indeed!

Actually, you can make it compatible with all the functions that a Beo4 can perform ...

Check out iRed and irTrans -- the latter is the hardware and the former the software. What you want is iRed 2.0, which should be released any moment (I know they are working on it). Several members here are using previous versions to emulate a Beo4 (search the site). You get the irTrans box, which contains infrared emitters (you need to specify that you want the B&O compatible one), iRed software, which helps you configure for your electronics, and then you assign virtual key functions.

I'm using my iPod Touch to control playback from my mediacenter of music and films, to various stereos around the house. WIth Remote Buddy's Music function I can pick a song, pickthe  computer or which Airport Express it's supposed to play from and have feedback as to other selections, what I'm listening to, etc.

Holy guacamole.  Suddenly I'm even more motivated than before to get an iPhone.  No more having to access iTunes on my music server with NetTunes!  (Although netTunes is pretty darn cool if you have more than one Mac and use multiple Airport Expresses)

    Re: two way remote outastanding

    That's cool stuff!!!!

So I connect my Mac via Beoport/BM Link to Masterlink in (e.g.) my office, so than being in the living room switch to Netmusik on my BS9000  and instead of using the Beo4 I control iTunes with iPod Touch?

Cool! So need for a second mac or an Crestron/AMX remote control anymore to get full control of my music uploaded.
