IR question possilby X10 or Lintronic

I want to use my Beo4 and turn on my BS9000 and with the same button push...want to trigger a relay to power on an external Power amp (that has no remote or IR features)......therefore, I want to have some type of external relay.....it could be IR or i guess I could take a low volt signal from a Powerlink to trigger it......either way...I just need to power on a piece of equipment that has no IR features....just a simple power amp....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

    Frank,

What you need is a Lintronic box with its associated relay card made just for this type of requirement.

Have a look HERE for details

    Regards Keith....

There is a universal power-save cord with 5 plugs one for TV with power on always, and 4 thats power on when you turn on your TV. This will also work with a radio like BS9000 and it's very cheap Smile

Hi Stig...do you mean that somehow the strip "knows" when you turn on the TV and it activates all the other plugs "downstream" of the TV plug???

     THanks, k
