... the answer shows how idiotic I am!
So I finished wiring Beoport in my living room (I have a Mac Mini Music Library) in a bookshelf masterlinked to a Beosound 9000 which is hung on the wall. Everything seems to be working. Except no sound!
I unwire, rewire, play around with the Beoport software configuration, etc... NOTHING... (the speakers; a Beolab 2 connected to a pair of BL3s which are powerlinked to the Beosound9000)....
Lo and behold, after about 40 minutes of further tinkering what do I find? That the Mini is on mute!
I slap my forehead in absurd laughter....
I also thought that the Beoport couldn't "handle" the large music library. 79GB worth of music on an external HD connected via firewire to the Mini, so I created a smaller library to see what would happen... LOL
... and it was on mute! ha ha ha!
Just thought I'd share in the frustration.
