    Service Counters on BV7

    Hello

I just purchased a used BV7. The tv is about one year old.

I entered the service menu to view the counters of how long it has been turned on. I can se that it has only been used for about 3 days which is not much for an entire year.

Could they have reset the counters? Is that possible? Or am I just lucky that it is an almost unused tv I've got?

    Regards Muhl

    Re: Service Counters on BV7

You can reset the counters, but this invovles getting your hands dirty and having access to a service suitcase: If you replace the chassis the counters will restart.

In some rare cases some counters remain at zero.

But, in general, you can trust the counters to be correct. Remember that you have to watch or listen for 24 hrs for a counter to show 1 day, but 3 days is very little usage for such a great tv!

    Thanks for the answer.

Do you mean that it can be done with a service suitcase? I just heard it was only possible with a change of chassis?

The dvd eject says 2*10 the dvd video says 3*10 but the dvd on says 0*10. Isn't that weird?
